Volunteers have the opportunity to earn chapter service award points.
The Program Committee is responsible for providing and developing educational events to the members of ACHE of South Florida. The programs shall be high-quality and relevant topics. This committee plans, coordinates and conducts education meetings offered by the chapter. This includes securing speakers, panelists, and venues, as well as managing virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, when required. The committee is also responsible for obtaining all required documentation and details required by ACHE and submitting for approval according to deadline.
The Sponsorship Committee works to connect ACHE of South Florida and organizations for corporate and event sponsorships. This committee works to obtain sponsorships to fund chapter events, scholarships, etc. This committee will assist with creating and refining sponsorship packages and ensuring that the chapter is fulfilling its sponsorship obligations according to the benefits level. The Sponsorship Committee networks to create relationships between the chapter and the community.
The Membership Committee helps navigate and engage the members of ACHE of South Florida. This committee is a liaison between the Board of Directors and the general members. The Membership Committee is responsible for monitoring and reporting membership levels, welcoming new members, performing registration at events, maintaining member and non-member databases, monitoring membership growth, and responding to members’ concerns. The goal of this committee is to increase member participation in activities and encourage new member enrollment.
The Student Services Committee assists in planning, coordinating, and conducting the Student Case Competition. This includes inviting local universities to the competition and guiding them to create their student teams. This committee acts a liaison between the chapter, universities, and student teams. You will assist in coordination and planning for this event as well as securing the awards for the teams, mentors, and judges. This committee will also assist in pairing mentors with student teams. Additionally, this committee will oversee student awards and scholarships that may be offered on behalf of the chapter.
The Networking Committee plans, coordinates, and conducts all networking and social events for ACHE of South Florida members, including securing venues and promoting networking events. This committee is also responsible for pursuing sponsorships for networking events.
